Brief Information

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is a premier central government organization responsible for recruiting technical and non-technical staff for the Indian Railways, which is one of the world's largest rail networks. Under the Ministry of Railways, RRBs ensure a fair and merit-based selection process to maintain the operational efficiency of India's lifeline. The RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) recruitment is highly prestigious in India, offering stable career paths and competitive salaries to thousands of aspirants. For the 2025-26 cycle, RRB has announced 5,810 vacancies specifically for graduate-level posts including Station Master, Goods Train Manager, and Senior Clerk cum Typist. The job profiles under this recruitment involve critical responsibilities such as managing train movements, handling commercial ticket operations, and maintaining administrative accounts. The selection process is rigorous, comprising a First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1), a Second Stage CBT-2, followed by specialized Skill Tests (Typing or Aptitude) depending on the post, and final Document Verification with a Medical Examination. This recruitment is a significant event for Indian job seekers as it provides an entry into the 'Group C' services of the Central Government, offering perks like HRA, Dearness Allowance, and travel concessions. Given the high volume of applicants, staying updated with the official exam calendar and syllabus is essential for success in this national-level competitive examination.
