RRB ALP 2026 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

1. First Stage CBT (CBT-1)

Screening test only. 75 Questions in 60 Minutes. Subjects: Maths, Reasoning, General Science, GA/Current Affairs.

2. Second Stage CBT (CBT-2)

  • Part A: 100 Qs (90 Mins) - Decides Merit.
  • Part B: 75 Qs (60 Mins) - Trade specific, Qualifying only (35% pass marks).

3. Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)

Conducted for candidates 8 times the vacancy. Minimum T-Score of 42 in each battery required. No negative marking.

4. Medical Standards

  • Medical Category: A-1
  • Vision: 6/6 without glasses. LASIK surgery not allowed.
