1. Online Examination

The online exam consists of 180 questions for 300 marks with a duration of 150 minutes.

• English Language: 50 Questions (50 Marks)
• Engineering Discipline Paper I: 40 Questions (100 Marks)
• Engineering Discipline Paper II: 40 Questions (100 Marks)
• General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 Questions (50 Marks)

Negative marking of 1/4th mark applies for each wrong answer.

2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates qualifying the online exam will undergo LPT in the relevant local language. It is qualifying in nature.

The selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹33,900/- per month in the scale of ₹33,900 – ₹74,590. Including all allowances like DA, HRA, CCA, etc., the initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately ₹71,000/-.
