1. Preliminary Examination

The Prelims is an online objective test consisting of three sections:

• English Language: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
• Numerical Ability: 35 Questions (35 Marks)
• Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions (35 Marks)

Total duration is 60 minutes with sectional timing. Candidates must clear sectional cut-offs.

2. Main Examination

Those who qualify Prelims appear for the Mains (200 Marks):

• Test of Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge.

3. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

The candidate must be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying for. The test is qualifying in nature.

Monthly Salary Package

The starting basic pay for an RBI Assistant is approximately ₹20,700/- per month.
