Brief Information

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), formerly known as PEB, is the primary executive body responsible for conducting entrance and recruitment examinations for various state-level services in Madhya Pradesh. Under the authority of the MP Home (Police) Department, this recruitment drive for 500 Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) and Subedar (Stenographer) posts aims to strengthen the administrative and clerical wing of the state police force. These roles are critical for maintaining documentation, handling communications, and providing stenographic support to senior police officials. The job profile of an ASI (Steno) involves managing digital records, computer typing, and office correspondence, while a Subedar (Steno) is responsible for high-speed shorthand dictations and transcription. The selection process is comprehensive, involving a Written Examination (Objective Type), a Mandatory Skill Test (Shorthand/Typing), Physical Standards Verification, and Medical Examination. This recruitment is highly significant in India, particularly for MP residents, as it offers a prestigious government career with the benefits of the 7th Pay Commission. It serves as a major opportunity for 12th-pass candidates with technical skills like CPCT to secure a stable and respected position within the law enforcement framework of Madhya Pradesh.
